New Teacher Cohort 
The New Teacher Cohort is for New Special Education Teachers within HVED. The cohort meets via Zoom, monthly, to offer learning opportunities in Special Education Due Process.

CPI Announcement:
Hiawatha Valley Education District (HVED) is changing requirements for Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Refresher training cycles.  Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, participants trained in CPI will be required to take a Refresher CPI course every two school years, as opposed to every school year.  Districts have been split into two cohorts, based upon location.  Cohort 1 will participate in a refresher course during the 2024-2025 school year and Cohort 2 will participate in a refresher course during the 2025-2026 school year.  For more information and to view your district's cohort, please view the attached letter here.
