Description:
The Early Intervention Program is a federally mandated Early Intervention program (Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act—IDEA) to support families of children with developmental delays or disabilities under the age of three. The Early Intervention Program works in partnership with the family to enhance their child’s development and support the family’s knowledge, skills and abilities as they interact with and raise their child.
Services of Early Intervention:
• Speech, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology, Deaf/Hard Hearing, Blind/Visually Impaired services;
• Parent education so families learn new skills to support their child's development;
• Service Coordination to connect the family to other supports in the community
Anyone can make a referral by calling 1-866-693-GROW (4769) or going to HelpMeGrowMN.org to complete an on-line referral form.
